Lipitor and precautions

While you are taking lipitor drug there are some precautions which need to be followed. Lipitor is a cholesterol lowering drug and should be taken as told by the doctor.

1)If you have kidney or liver disease, low blood pressure, seizures or a severe infection you should inform your physician or pharmacists accordingly.

2)If you get preagnant or are planning to be while on Lipitor than tell this thing to your doctor.

3) Don't take alcohol while taking Lipitor.

4) Lipitor drug should be taken with water.

5) If you are planning to go for an operation than tell your doctor.

6) Breast feeding mothers should not take lipitor.

Follow above mentioned points and keep yourself healthy and risk free while on Lipitor.
